Overview

The Tribunal may hold a hearing into a complaint to decide if there was discrimination.

Hearings are usually open to the public. You are welcome to attend a public hearing. Attending a hearing can be a good way to get ready for your own hearing.

If you want to watch a hearing, check the Hearing Schedule to see if the hearing is in person or by videoconference.

If the hearing is in person, contact us before the hearing to make sure the hearing will proceed. Many complaints are settled before the hearing begins.

The Tribunal’s Backlog Strategy explains that most 2023 hearings have been adjourned and will be rescheduled.

90 day hearing schedule

Hearings listed may be removed from the schedule due to adjournments, settlement discussions, etc. Please call (604) 775-2000 or (888) 440-8844 to confirm scheduled dates and start times.
