Special programs
Effective April 1, 2020, responsibility for special programs has been transferred to British Columbia’s Office of the Human Rights Commissioner: Code, s. 47.12. For more information about special programs, including applications and renewals, please visit: bchumanrights.ca/special-programs.
Any existing special program approved by the Tribunal Chair under s. 42 of the Code remains valid as if it had been approved by the Human Rights Commissioner: Human Rights Amendment Act Regulation, BC Reg 71/2020, s. 15. Mandatory reporting requirements remain a condition of special program approval and those reports must now be submitted to the Office of the Human Rights Commissioner at: SpecialPrograms@bchumanrights.ca.
