Devyn Cousineau is legal counsel at the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal. She was appointed as a full-time member of the BC Human Rights Tribunal on November 1, 2017, for a six month term.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Cousineau clerked at the BC Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. She spent the next seven years practicing at a legal non-profit organization, practicing anti-poverty and human rights law on behalf of low-income clients. She practiced in a labour law firm for one year before joining the Tribunal in 2016. Ms. Cousineau has appeared before administrative tribunals and at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada.
